Since 2018, Family Fest has been welcoming thousands of families to one of the best family festivals that takes place in Wimborne annually.
We welcome a selection of offerings for the whole family across our 12 acres of working farmland including local businesses, produce and fresh food, live music, family activities, children's shows, funfair and loads more.
The festival is curated and delivered by a small team of festival creators, the festival has grown year after year creating magical memories for families with the festival bringing over 6,000 people together across four main live festivals and 10,000 people together across one virtual festival with visitors from across the UK, USA, Ukraine, France, Spain and the world.
since the beginning...
Family Fest was born, and the first festival took place at Branksome Recreation Ground in Poole, Dorset. The festival began as Spring Arts Fest, and we welcomed over 500 local residents to our first small event in the heart of the community.
Back again after a successful first year in 2018, our second festival took place in June 2019 at our new home of Kings Park in Bournemouth. Growing from a small event to a small festival, we grew further bringing together over 1000 people across one day.
2020! Where do we start? After planning our biggest festival yet, our plans were put on hold due to the pandemic and our plans were halted temporarily until June 2021 and we welcomed Virtual Fest, live across Facebook and YouTube.
Our 2021 festival was all go and we welcomed over 1500 people across two days from across Dorset and surrounding counties to our new home of 12 acres of working farmland, The Meadows, in Wimborne, Dorset.
And then a whole load of fun again in 2022!
Welcoming over 2000 people of all ages to our festival on the first weekend of July. Traders, musicians, charities, mascots - 2022 had it all, in our home of The Meadows, Wimborne, Dorset.
Our biggest festival yet, welcoming over 2000 people from across the UK with some special family members from the USA, our 2023 festival continued taking place at our home of The Meadows, Wimborne, Dorset, and was a rolling success.
Here's to 2024!
